Formax agrees to repair or replace, at its option, any defective part or component covered by this warranty, provided there was no abuse and we first receive written notice of a defect within the applicable warranty period.  Wearable parts are not covered under warranty. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and does not include labor or the payment of any labor charges or incidental or consequential expenses.

Warranty claims must be submitted with a replacement part order. All parts are shipped FOB Dover, NH.

All product solutions offered by Formax Direct are available with full services rendered on-site. Formax also offers a comprehensive maintenance program designed to deliver optimal performance and longevity for your equipment. Formax Service Agreements are the best way to protect your investment. Formax provides on-site technical services in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Our service hours are:

  • Standard business hours of 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays
  • After hours emergency support including weekends, excluding major holidays

Installation & Training on Equipment Purchases
Formax takes pride in exceeding your service expectations and will do this right from the start. All equipment solutions purchased from Formax Direct include on-site installation and training of key operators. Our goal is to make sure all operators are fully trained and comfortable in the operation of the equipment. A refresher course for further operator training is also available within the first 90 days after installation. Our goal is for all of our customers to reach the maximum benefit and return on investment from their new equipment purchase.

When calling Formax for service you can expect:

  • To speak with a service dispatcher to log your call and to receive an estimated time of arrival either at the time of your call or within 60 minutes.
  • On-site technical support in most cases occurs the same day a service call is placed or at most within 24 hours. Priority is always given to mission-critical applications such as payroll so that your company is able to meet its most important deadlines.
  • If we are unable to restore full functionality to your Formax product within 24 hours of our original arrival, we will be happy to furnish your company with a loaner when and where available.

Service Agreements
Formax Service Agreements provide complete equipment maintenance that increase equipment longevity and productivity. Standard hours of operation are 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays. Formax Service Agreements cover parts, labor and either one or two preventative maintenance calls per year for most machines. Preventative maintenance calls are scheduled periodically and include:

  • Inspection of all components
  • All necessary adjustments, cleaning, proper lubrication and oiling
  • Test-run of customer media whenever available
  • Follow-up operator training on request

Your order will be shipped within 1 to 2 business days ( Ex: your order is placed on Wednesday, it will be shipped on Thursday or Friday. If your order is placed on Friday, it will be shipped on the next business days, Monday or latest will be Tuesday). Most order will be arriving between 2 to 8 business days after it is shipped, depending on the warehouse we shipped the item from.

Who Shipped My Product & Is The Shipment Insured?

Most of the time, UPS & DHL Ground Service or Freight Company will be used to ship your order. Except for larger items, which will be shipped by Freight Shipping. (Don't worry, we take care shipping for you as well doesn't matter the size and weights)

Your shipment is fully insured against liability of damage. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Due to Covid, the freight company do not offer white glove delivery and only sidecurb. If the customer refused the shipment, there will be return shipping charge plus 20% restocking fee applied to the order once the item is back to the warehouse.


Order Confirmation:

Once your order is placed with us you will receive a notification and confirmation email with all your order details. If you receive your confirmation email that means our system has properly processed your purchase and has pre-authorized your credit card. We will then submit your order to our transit team to reach out to our supplier and/or warehouse manager to ensure that your item is still in stock for immediate packaging and shipping. If for some reason your item happens to be out of stock or on backorder, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If the item(s) for your order becomes available for shipping within 9 days, we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

  • All products must be in resalable condition.

  • If the unit was purchased under a free-shipping promotion there will not be refund for shipping fees and also, the customer will bear the 25% restocking fee + return shipping fee of original price if the return is unrelated to quality, damages or wrong item but merely for a personal and discretional last-minute decision from the buyer.
  • If a freight item is returned due to not accepting delivery appointments or refusing to schedule an appointment with the shipping carrier in a timely manner; returned freight items are subject to a 25% restocking fee and return shipping charges.
  • You are responsible for the return shipping charges.
  • If the product is returned to the incorrect location the restocking fee will vary.
  • All sales are final on products marked “Non-Returnable”.
  • Specially ordered items and custom products are non-returnable and cannot be canceled once production has started.
  • Parcel or freight items that are selectively returned by refusal at time of delivery are subject to a 35% restocking fee + $100 Return Shipping Fee. And All shipping charges are always non-refundable, including the Free Shipping.

We work with various manufacturers who ship directly to the address you provide with your order. Most of our customers have their orders sent directly to their home. This delivery structure helps speed up delivery time since orders do not have to pass through our headquarters. Firstly, we highly recommend that you always thoroughly check the packaging of your item(s) when upon arrival. If you sense any damage you should to make note of it when signing the delivery form. On the off chance that your item(s) arrives damaged or faulty, please send pics to immediately (same day) and we will get in touch with you as soon as we have the opportunity.

How do I make a return?

If you are unsatisfied with your purchased product(s) for any reason (other than the product being defective), you can return it within 30 days of receiving of your item. Returned orders are charged based on the restocking fee that is equivalent to 35% of the cost of your order. You (the customer) are liable for any return costs for BOTH directions (from the facility it was ordered from on its travel to you, and then the travel back to the stockroom). The total cost of the purchase price, minus the fee charges and expenses, will then be refunded back to you when the facility processes your product(s). Keep in mind that item must be returned within 30 days of purchase, in new condition, unused, and in it original packaging. Refunds can only be provided to the same credit card that was utilized to purchase the returned item(s).

Following our 30-day policy, we will help assist in a return ONLY in the event that the product is faulty or damaged and still under manufacturer's guarantee or manufacturer's warranty. Often, the manufacturer's guarantee and manufacturer's warranty will differ from 1-3 years depending on the specific manufacturer.
